Let's converse in English, perhaps in this "universal" language, we can achieve a certain degree of reasonableness. To begin with, I was born into a Pentecostal family in a small town located in the middle of nowhere. Since childhood, I have witnessed demons being driven out of people. The devil seems to have the power to steal away the lives of these individuals, from healthy and prosperous homes to peaceful communities. If we consider the doctrine to be right, then we must ask ourselves: is our "battle" against the Devil or is the battle actually the Devil's work itself?
What we mean is that we have lost many aspects of the great living Christ, who was supposed to deliver for us in life, while we are preoccupied with politics. Here in Brazil, the greatest evidence of my argument is that people have become so afraid of evil that they beg their human leaders for salvation. It is important to note that not all pastors should be included in this group because if the cross is not proclaimed, then we are dealing with a false prophet. However, such individuals are easy to come across.
